Our tester Claire was impressed by the neat packaging, easy-to-open and thought it was one of the quickest and most simple pieces of baby equipment to put together. She took it for a spin around some tough terrain and was extremely pleased with its performance.
Seats
The majority of 3 wheel double buggies start as single pushchairs. However, some models can be converted to accommodate the second seat using adapters. three wheel pushchairs 'll also see that some models allow you to add a ride-on board to older children who would like to walk but require some assistance.
If you're looking for a lightweight option that's great for urban streets, look into the Joie Evalite Duo. It's easy to move and has a deep basket that has plenty of storage space. It can accommodate twins from at birth and will accept two car seats or a carrycot with a seat. However, the seats have to be facing forwards, and there's no room to store a bag of groceries underneath and you'll need a sidepack to do that.
Mountain Buggy Duet will be an ideal choice when you love off-roading. It's a side-byside model with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. This allows it to pass through doors with narrow openings and on public transport and also allows you to go up and down kerbs without too much trouble. The iCandy Orange double buggies are one of the most sought-after available. This is due to their exceptional comfort. It is a true all-terrain pushchair with soft suspension to make light work of bumpy surfaces. It can accommodate a massive 30 seating configurations and comes with an integrated ride-on board that can be used for older children who prefer walking and a 'cinema seating' mode that raises the back seat to allow for better visibility.
Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a great single buggy from day 1 which is then able to take 2 (or 3!) in multiple configurations. This is especially useful if you have an infant in a car seat because the frame can be equipped with a wedgie to allow for optimal position, and also car seat adapters to various brands.
Suspension
The suspension of a double 3 wheel buggy will determine how easily you and your child/children can push it. A smooth ride is crucial since babies can feel every bump in the road, especially when it's on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved paths. Some models also come with front wheels that lock to assist in maneuvering and navigating obstacles like curbs.
Some models have air-filled tyres which are ideal for all-terrain riding, but they are susceptible to punctures. Make sure you keep an extra set of tyres in your trunk. Certain models come with gel-filled or foam-filled tyres which are designed to cushion bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, however they might be uncomfortable for your child should you decide to jog.

Folding
A three-wheel double buggy could be folded easily to store it. You can find options that fold flat and stand up (as when they were in a pushchair) as well as those that pop open to reveal an umbrella-style fold, with an electric brake. This is a very lightweight and compact option that can be folded by one hand, making it great for travel. It is compatible with many infant car seats, and comes with a handy undercarriage basket to store your shopping. It's not cheap, but it has certain notable features, like its one-click folding and many extras, like bumper bars or raincovers.

Storage
One thing that many people appreciate about a good triple wheeled double buggy is the storage capacity.
